Cardinal publishes books which stand out as much for the originality and diversity of the editorial proposals as for the quality of their production. With a solid reputation that combines passion and know-how, Cardinal designs beautiful books on history, cuisine, nature, art, travel, as well as essays, stories and guides that occupy a special place in Quebec publishing, colorful works that showcase local talent.

After being part of the Québec America group from 2014 to 2023, the house now continues its activities independently. In 2024, Cardinal welcomes three new owners: Joëlle Landry and Clémence Risler, editorial director and publisher within the company, and Marilou Bourdon, businesswoman (Three times per day), artist and author of six works published by the House. The new shareholders join Antoine Ross-Trempe, co-owner and general manager of the Montreal company since 2006.
